Golf Digest

Expert Pick
Alex Myers Justin Thomas

There’s a new world No. 1 and that’s no other than Justin Thomas, who is fresh off a win at the World Golf Championships-FedEx St. Jude Invitational last week. Thomas now has three wins this season, having won THE CJ CUP @ NINE BRIDGES and the Sentry Tournament of Champions earlier this season. So far, Thomas has nine top 10s and 11 top 25s in 14 starts this season and has only been cut thrice. Thomas is +1200 to win the 2020 PGA Championship.

Expert Golfer to watch out for
Mike McClure Daniel Berger

For Mike McClure’s model, Daniel Berger has a high potential to return great money for his bettors. Berger has finished no worse than a T3 in three of his last three starts. Last week, he had a T2 at the World Golf Championships-FedEx St. Jude Invitational. He also won the first event after the season’s postponement due to COVID-19 pandemic, topping the field at the Charles Schwab Challenge last June. Berger has a price of +6000 to win the 2020 PGA Championship.

USA TODAY

Expert Golfer to watch out for
Esten McLaren Brooks Koepka

Regardless of Koepka’s struggles this season, it’s hard to ignore the fact that he’s been great in most of his recent major appearances. As pointed out by McLaren, Koepka did not finish worse than fifth in any major last year and has won four of his last 10 major starts. Koepka (+1100) is also just days removed from his best performance of the season, finishing with a T2 at the World Golf Championships-FedEx St. Jude Invitational.

TopBet News Editor – Ryan Simpson

Expert Pick
Ryan Simpson, News Editor Bryson Dechambeau

Although his last two starts weren’t very good (missed the cut at the Memorial Tournament and a T30 at the World Golf Championships-FedEx St. Jude Invitational), you shouldn’t count out Dechambeau, who’s been generally solid this season. He has eight top 10s and nine top 25s in 13 starts while missing the cut just two times. He is +1100 to win the 2020 PGA Championship.
