The QBE Shootout is a team event that traces its roots all the way back to 1980 when it was still called the RMCC Invitational. Through the years, it’s changed names numerous times. Before being referred to as the QBE Shootout, the tournament was last called the Franklin Templeton Shootout. Last year, the total purse was at $3.5 million, but it has received a boost in 2022 worth $300,000, bringing the total payout to $3.8 million. Na and Kokrak pocketed $895,000 together by topping the event in 2021 while the runner-ups, Sam Burns and Billy Horschel, laughing their way to the bank with a combined $560,000 in prizes.
