Betting on the Texas A&M Aggies:
Death Valley sounded exactly as the name suggested for the Aggies last Saturday as LSU handed Texas A&M a crushing 34-10 defeat. The loss was a huge blow for Johnny Manziel’s chances to repeat as a Heisman Trophy winner. [sc:NCAA240banner ]
The sophomore quarterback, who might leave for the NFL next year, had an uncharacteristic game. Manziel threw for 224 yards and a touchdown but passed two interceptions in a poor 16-of-41 passing game.
Texas A&M’s offense clearly wasn’t running seamlessly against the Tigers, putting up just 10 points after laying out no less than 51 points in each of the Aggies’ past three games.
Despite seeing their 10-game road game winning streak snapped at Baton Rouge, the Aggies’ 10-1 SU record in their last 11 road games remains formidable. They head to Columbia, Missouri next week for a date with #5 Mizzou.

Betting on the Missouri Tigers:
Missouri went three notches higher in the latest AP Poll rankings from #8 to #5 after three straight wins since losing to the Gamecocks, 27-24, last October. The Tigers also have the losses of Baylor and Oregon during the weekend to thank in their latest rise in the rankings.
With a 24-10 win over then #24 Ole Miss, the Tigers are just a win away from a berth in the SEC championship game.
Running backs Henry Josey and Marcus Murphy combined for 162 rushing yards and three TDs while senior quarterback James Franklin went 12-of-19 for 142 yards in a collective effort by the Tigers in Mizzou’s victory over the Rebels.
[sc:NCAA490banner ]Up next for the Tigers is a date with Texas A&M, who is fresh off a defeat at the hands of LSU. The Aggies had a very tough time cracking LSU’s defense and they stand to take on an even more cohesive defensive unit against Missouri. Missouri is 15th in the nation in scoring defense (19.3 PPG) and they’ve allowed no more than 17 points in each of their last three contests.
Missouri is 9-1 SU and ATS in their last 10 games overall.
