The Total Payout – $46 million
The money that’s going to fly around at the conclusion of the TOUR Championship is borderline crazy. The player who finishes first at East Lake this coming weekend in terms of their FedExCup standings stands to inject his bank account with a dizzying total of $15 million or more than what the combined 2019 salary of New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley and Atlanta Falcons tailback Devonta Freeman. It’s just insane. The runner-up will get a neat $5 million, which is still more than Christian McCaffrey of the Carolina Panthers will get this year. Even the last placer among all 30 golfers who’ll tee off at East Lake is going to get a handsome sum of $395,000. Imagine being the worst golfer and still getting close to 400 grand.
