Jimmy Walker
There’s no question Jimmy Walker is going to be a serious contender in the upcoming Quicken Loans National. He’s been consistently improving his game every year and is right on track for yet another promising finish this year. Walker heads to the tournament this weekend currently ranked as the 14th best golfer in the planet and second in FedEx Cup points behind Jordan Spieth.
[sc:Golf240banner ]His ranking isn’t just for show, though, as he’s proven this whenever he enters the field. Just last season 2014, he made the top-10 in 10 of 27 played events, winning three tournaments. This year has been a solid one for Walker as well, making it into the top-25 seven times in 17 events, while bringing home two titles (Valero Texas Open and Sony Open) and two second-place finishes thus far.
However, Walker didn’t do so well in last week’s Open Championship with a T30 finish. The American will definitely be looking for a stronger performance at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Club this weekend. His impressive driving has played a key role to his success this season, as he’s placed 17th in the PGA Tour in driving distance with 301.8 yards per drive. Furthermore, Walker ranks fourth in the PGA Tour with an impressive 69.901 scoring average and also No. 4 in the birdies average department with 4.34.

Danny Lee
Danny Lee is still probably in high spirits after recently winning his first PGA Tour title at the Greenbrier Classic last week, wherein he ousted David Hearn, Kevin Kisner and Robert Streb in a four-way playoff. He then followed that up with a strong T3 finish at the John Deere Classic.
The 24-year-old South Korean-born New Zealander will be looking to capitalize on his momentum as he sets his sights upon another championship at the Quicken Loans National.
Obviously, that’s easier said than done. But someone as in form as Lee, who ranks No. 69 in the world, definitely has a strong chance to emerge victorious and should not be underestimated. He’s made into the top-25 in three of his last four tournaments and is 13th in the FedEx Cup standings.
Bill Haas
Bill Haas is another player to look out for the upcoming Quicken Loans Nationals. He may be on a slump of late, but has made it eight times to the top-25 on tour this season and brought home the Humana Challenge trophy last January, which was his sixth career PGA Tour title.
The Quicken Loans National is nothing new to Haas, who enters as a former champion. He won the title back in 2013 with a three-shot victory. The 33-year-old veteran from North Carolina has always been known to have a winning pedigree despite being not making the cut in two of his last three tournaments. He currently ranks No. 29 in the world and has every shot at challenging for his seventh PGA Tour title.
