Another exciting PGA Tour event is headed our way this week and a bevy of the world’s top golfers are ready to tee off at the Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

Last season’s golfer of the year in Jordan Spieth is off to a hot start, and many fans consider him as the frontrunner to win this weekend. But do the experts also agree to this notion, especially with defending Pebble Beach champ Brandt Snedeker also in the mix?

Experts Picks and Predictions for the Pebble Beach Pro-Am

Bleacher Report

Expert Prediction
Ben Alberstadt Jordan Spieth

Bleacher Report’s Ben Alberstadt went with the conventional move of picking World No. 1 Jordan Spieth as the victor this weekend.

B/R’s featured columnist highlighted that Pebble Beach requires a strong putting game, and there’s no better golfer out there right now from short distance than the Texas Native. Spieth is currently tops in the PGA Tour in putting and is also ranked 38th in approaches from 50 to 125 yards.

Furthermore, Alberstadt didn’t also forget that the best golfer on tour had top 10 finishes here at Pebble Beach over the past two years. That’s pretty much a good enough reason as for why Spieth is still the +450 favorite to win his second tournament of the season.

CBS Sports

Expert Prediction Top 10 Finish
Robby Kalland Jordan Spieth Dustin Johnson
Kyle Porter Jordan Spieth Dustin Johnson

Robby Kalland and Kyle Porter of CBS Sports unsurprisingly went with Spieth to take home the cake on Sunday as well, but both of them also had high praises for Dustin Johnson for at least a guaranteed top 10 finish.

If there’s one golfer who has made Pebble Beach his own playground, it’s none other than DJ. As Porter stated, Johnson is a two-time champion at this event and has a whopping five top-5 finishes on the course.

Although his putting is still rather atrocious (he’s currently ranked 179th in strokes gained), Johnson (+1,000) still has four-straight top-20 finishes heading into the tournament, so his fine form and momentum could very well bag him his third-career Pebble Beach title by the end of the week.

U.S. Golf TV

Expert Prediction
Troy Klongerbo Kevin Na

Now here’s a bold choice: In Troy Klongerbo’s predictions piece for U.S. Golf TV, the site’s esteemed columnist believes that Kevin Na will finally break through his sleeper-status bubble and seal his second-career win on the PGA Tour this weekend.

Klongerbo argued that while the Korean sensation only has one title under his belt since joining the PGA Tour in 2001, this season has been a quite a magical one for him. Na has top-30 finishes in each of his past three outings, including a superb third-place finish at the CareerBuilder Challenge (which was also a West Coast event, by the way).

Not only that, but the 32-year-old also has three top-25 finishes and ended up in the top five twice over his last four trips to Pebble Beach. With a lot of positives working in favor of the Asian veteran, +3,000 now sounds like a fantastic price indeed for Na to win on Sunday and net his backers a sweet haul.

Do you agree with the experts here that are heavily-favoring a win for Spieth? Why not create a betting account now and put your very own prediction for the Pebble Beach Pro-Am to the test?
