Expert Picks and Predictions for the 2016 Coca-Cola 600

Fox Sports

EXPERT WINNER
Chad Robb Kyle Busch

Fox Sports’ fantasy NASCAR expert Chad Robb is going with Kyle Busch to grab the win in Charlotte. Despite Busch’s 30th-place finish at Dover, Robb is confident in Busch’s ability to bounce back, and with good reason.

Charlotte Motor Speedway is an intermediate track, and Busch has been brilliant in those this season. He won the last two intermediate track races in Texas and Kansas, and finished in the top five in Atlanta and Fontana.

Robb notes that Busch has never won at Charlotte in his career, but he also hadn’t done so in Kansas before a couple of weeks ago. So, Robb expects to see another first for Busch on Sunday.

Fantasy Racing Cheat Sheet

Jeff Gutowski’s Top 5

  1. Brad Keselowski
  2. Kevin Harvick
  3. Carl Edwards
  4. Kasey Kahne
  5. Chase Elliott

Jeff Gutowski of Fantasy Racing Cheat Sheet is never one to shy away from a bold prediction, and he sure was this week with his pick of Brad Keselowski winning in Charlotte. Gutowski is basing his pick on Keselowski’s very good runner-up performance at last weekend’s All-Star race, as well as during the practice sessions. Keselowski does own a win in Charlotte, although that was back in 2010.

Meanwhile, Gutowski sees Sprint Cup points leader Kevin Harvick to come right behind Keselowski in second. He cites Harvick’s fine races in Charlotte in recent years, which includes two wins and two runner-up finishes, as a major reason why he’ll be in contention for another win on Sunday.

Yahoo! Fantasy NASCAR experts

PLACE Robert Walsh Marlon Clark Jed Henson Kyle Wiseman FRCS Group
1st Ku Busch Harvick Harvick Harvick Ky Busch
2nd Harvick Ky Busch Edwards Truex Jr Logano
3rd Johnson Logano Logano Ky Busch Harvick

Speaking of Harvick, three out of the five Yahoo! fantasy NASCAR experts polled by Fantasy Racing Cheat Sheet picked Harvick to take the checkered flag, and all five have him finishing in the top three. As mentioned earlier, Harvick is a very good bet due to his recent successes in Charlotte.

Meanwhile, Joey Logano was also quite a favorite, with three experts predicting a top-three finish. Logano is coming off a thrilling victory at the NASCAR All-Star race, where he overtook then-leader Kyle Larsen in the last few laps. These experts likely see that win as a huge confidence boost for Logano, who has been rather disappointing this season. Logano has just two top-three finishes in the first 12 races of the season.
