Fox Sports NASCAR fantasy expert Chad Robb is going with Jimmie Johnson to grab the checkered flag at Saturday’s GoBowling 400. Robb notes how Johnson has excelled on intermediate tracks this season, with two wins in the four intermediate track races, and top five finishes in the other two races.
Robb also brings up just how great JJ is at Kansas Speedway compared to the rest of the pack. He’s finished in the top 10 in 14 of his last 16 starts at the track. All in all, there’s a pretty compelling case to be made for the No. 48 to come out No. 1 again this weekend.

Jeff Gutowski of Fantasy Racing Cheat Sheet concurs with Robb that Johnson will be one of the main contenders in Kansas. He notes that Johnson leads all active drivers with three career wins at Kansas Speedway. However, Gutowski doesn’t think he’ll add a fourth win this weekend.
Instead, he’s gone with Joey Logano to win in Kansas. Logano has a good history at Kansas Speedway, winning the Hollywood Casino 400 – which is also run on the track – in 2014 and 2015. Logano is still in search of his first win of the season, and don’t be surprised if it finally comes on one of his favorite tracks.

Four of the five fantasy NASCAR experts polled by Fantasy Racing Cheat Sheet have also gone with Johnson and Logano to take the checkered flag in Kansas. However, they also see Kevin Harvick right there in the mix to grab a top-three finish. Jed Henson even has Harvick finishing first ahead of Logano.
Much like Johnson, Harvick has been excellent on intermediate tracks this year. He actually has the best average running position on the four intermediate track races this season, and has finished in the top 10 in all four of those races. Harvick has also had reasonable success at Kansas Speedway, with two runner-up finishes and a win on the track in the last three years.
