2016 Toyota/Save Mart 350 Prize Money Breakdown

Nascar---News-Banners-250x130-2-12-16

As is customary in our previous installments of this particular feature, we must regretfully inform our dear readers that NASCAR has stopped releasing information about their prize-money distribution since the start of this 2016 season. However, that didn’t stop us from making an accurate guess as for how much money is in store for this week’s field of drivers.

Looking back at last year’s numbers, the Toyota/Save Mart 350 actually has a relatively substantial purse compared to the other races on the season’s slate. Kyle Busch, last year’s winner, took home over $300,000 in winnings, which is nearly a hundred G’s more than what the winner of Toyota’s other, lengthier race (the Toyota Owners 400 in Richmond). Only eight races from last year’s schedule had a larger prize pool than the Toyota/Save Mart 350, and that says a lot about Japan’s leading car manufacturer’s financial strength.
