2016 PGA Wells Fargo Championship Cut Line and Odds Update

Only one round of play remains at the 2016 Wells Fargo Championship at The Quail Hollow Club, with several big names from the PGA Tour having dropped out of the event already.

Nonetheless, a top-10 golfer currently sits atop the standings through the first three rounds of action, with a bevy of other stars and relative unknowns still nipping hot on his heels. Let’s take a look at latest Top-10 rankings from the Queen City tournament below.

There’s also plenty of other exciting sports action happening elsewhere, particularly from the NBA postseason. Check out our Game-4 previews for the showdowns between Golden State and Portland, and San Antonio and Oklahoma City.

2016 Wells Fargo Championship Cut Line and Odds Update

The 2016 installment of the Wells Fargo Championship bid farewell to the likes of Tour stalwarts Henrik Stenson, Jim Furyk and Bill Haas earlier this week, and even saw Zach Blair get disqualified from the tournament due to his frustrations in Charlotte.

One golfer who isn’t being fazed by Quail Hollow, however, is World No. 5 Rickie Fowler. The 27-year-old sensation, who won this event back in 2012, has shot nine holes under-par thus far for a slim lead at first place.

Fowler will be pitted up against World No. 10 golfer Justin Rose in the final round, with both heavyweights each priced at -115 in winning their head-to-head matchup on Sunday. Rose is in great shape himself, currently tied for third at seven under-par.

Elsewhere, two-time and defending tournament champion, Rory McIlroy, is tied with 19 other golfers in 19th place with a total of just one hole under-par, same with tenacious Aussie Adam Scott. McIlroy (EVEN) and Scott (-130) are set to duel against one another in Round 4, which should make for plenty of dazzling plays at the very least.

Like in any PGA Tour event, this one’s coming down the wire, folks. Will the decorated veterans of the Tour make solid pushes down the stretch, or will surprise contenders such as Roberto Castro and Andrew Loupe hold their own? Tune in to the finale of the Wells Fargo Championship this Sunday, and place your bets on the final round’s one-on-one matchups before it’s too late!
