2016 WGC Cadillac Championship Sleeper Picks

Kevin Kisner

Kevin Kisner is having a splendid season on tour. He’s played in eight events. He’s placed first and second and has a total of four top 10 finishes thus far. But he hasn’t exactly been hot entering the Cadillac Championship. He was cut in the Waste Management Phoenix Open in Feburary 7 and tied for 70 at the Honda Classic.

Kisner played just one World Golf Championship tournament last season. He tied for 37 at the Bridgestone Invitational. Expect Kisner to have plenty of energy in his first WGC even this season.

Kevin Na

2016 WGC Cadillac Championship Sleeper Picks / Predictions

Kevin Na knows how to finish strong. He has two second-place and two third-place finishes this season thus far. He’s ranked in the top 25 in five of the nine events he’s played in this year. Na is currently in a rut, missing the cut in each of his last two tournaments. But he could break that streak with a solid outing at the Cadillac Championship. He tied for ninth at this tournament last season with a one-under 287.

J.B. Holmes

2016 WGC Cadillac Championship Sleeper Picks / Predictions

J.B. Holmes must be the best sleeper in the field. He almost won this tournament just last year. He finished solo second with an eight-under 280. He started off strong with a 10-under 62, but could not hold on to the momentum. He finished the fourth round with a three-over 75.

Holmes has finished in the top 11 in seven of his last eight starts overall. Having a dominant outing at the Blue Monster isn’t too far-fetched for him. Anything short of a top 10 performance at the Cadillac Championship would be disappointing.
