Patrick Reed (-115over Jim Furyk (-115)

250x130-250FREE-6-16-16

One of the parlay matchups to watch in this week’s Wyndham Championship is the showdown between Jim Furyk and Patrick Reed. These two American stars have been playing some exceptional golf of late and they are expected to post some insane red numbers this week here at Sedgefield. Reed has finished in the top-15 in each of his last four starts, including a T13 at the PGA Championship. Furyk, on the other hand, is coming off a fifth-place showing at the Travelers Championship wherein he shot a record-breaking 58 in the final round. With the Ryder Cup just around the corner, it’s high time these two USA stalwarts step up their play in Greensboro.

It’s basically a toss-up between these two talented golfers but we give the slight edge to Patrick Reed because of his recent record here in this tournament. He won the Wyndham Championship in exciting fashion in 2013, beating two-time major champion Jordan Spieth in a two-man playoff. Look for Reed to post a lower score than Furyk this week.

Bill Haas (+105) over Jon Rahm (-135)

In a case of Wyndham Championship experience over current form, you can bank on 34-year-old Bill Haas to have a much better outing at Sedgefield this week than talented youngster Jon Rahm. The 21-year-old Spaniard may have five top-25 finishes in his last eight PGA Tour starts but we can’t discount Haas’ outstanding record in this golf tournament. He has four top 10s and a T20 here since 2009. To further illustrate his comfort level with this event, Haas shot a career-low-tying 62 in the 2009 edition of the Wyndham Championship.
