The long wait for the first major tournament of the season is finally over, as we’re now headed to timeless Augusta National for another edition of The Masters.
Without a doubt, virtually all of the PGA Tour’s biggest and hottest names will be present at Augusta this week, which actually makes our field of wagering prospects all the more unpredictable. Not all favorites have emerged victorious from the tournament in recent years, so it might be a wiser choice to go with a sleeper instead.
As such, let’s take a look below at three golfers that have the potential to surprise and leave the tournament donning the coveted green jacket, all the while netting you a sweet return for your bet.

Bubba Watson (+3,000)
It’s been quite a while since we heard anything good from Bubba Watson, who hasn’t had the best of results since his strong first quarter in 2016.
But if there’s one place that the two-time major winner can get back on the right track, it’s at Augusta. As a matter of fact, both of Watson’s major titles were won at The Masters (2012 and 2014). He even looked good this past week at the WGC Match Play tournament, having made the final 16 cut to give him a little momentum heading into this week.
Tyrrell Hatton (+5,000)
25-year-old Tyrrell Hatton will be making his Masters debut this week, and he’ll be bringing his sizzling-hot form to Augusta at that. The Englishman has a streak of 11-straight top-25 finishes to date, which includes seven top 10s and his first European Tour victory from October last year at Dunhill Links.
Don’t think for a second that Hatton’s doing most of his damage from across the Atlantic, either. He currently leads the PGA Tour in strokes gained: putting, has a pair of T4 finishes from Palm Beach and Bay Hill, plus another solo 10th from WGC-Mexico.
Lee Westwood (+7,500)
From one Brit to another we go; this time with Lee Westwood, who actually has some solid experience playing in this week’s course.
The Nottinghamshire native, along with Jordan Spieth, were last year’s runners-up at The Masters. He also finished second in the tournament in 2010 and has missed just three cuts in 17 career starts at Augusta. If you ask us, Westwood’s price is an absolute steal given his body of work at The Masters.
