Sleeper Picks |

Adam Scott (+2,800) |
Henrik Stenson (+3,300) |
Sergio Garcia (+3,500) |
Charley Hoffman (+4,000) |
Louis Oosthuizen (+6,000) |
For Bleacher Report’s Steve Silverman, one name immediately jumps into mind when it comes to the sleeper front for this week’s PGA Championship. And that name is Charley Hoffman (+4,000). The 40-year-old has been playing some excellent golf of late, finishing second in the RBC Canadian Open and third in the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational. Hoffman, who has won nearly $3.8 million on the PGA Tour this year, is currently 11th in the FedEx Cup standings.
Louis Oosthuizen is another golfer who has caught the eye of Silverman. The South African has won more than $2 million this year and has made the cut in 13 of 14 tournaments. Oosthuizen has one of the sweetest swings on Tour and he definitely displayed that in his second-place finish in the Players Championship and his third-place showing in the Waste Management Phoenix Open earlier this year. Oosthuizen’s priced at +6,000 to win his second major title this week.

Jeff Ritter | Tony Finau (+10,000) |
Sean Zak | Webb Simpson |
Alan Shipnuck | Brian Harman (+8,000) |
Josh Sens | Xander Schauffele (+10,000) |
Joe Passov | Davis Love III |
As far as Jeff Ritter is concerned, a big hitter will win at Quail Hollow this week. That’s why he’s banking on Tony Finau (+10,000) to pull off a shock victory in the 2017 PGA Championship. He’s sixth in the PGA Tour in driving distance, averaging a whopping 309.2 yards per drive this season. Finau’s tremendous length off the tee is the main reason why he’s rolling right now. He has top-10s in two of his last three starts.
Sean Zak, on the other hand, is going with hometown favorite Webb Simpson. The Quail Hollow member knows every nook and cranny of this 7,600 yard, par-71 course. That’s a major weapon especially in a cauldron of a major championship. Alan Shipnuck is going with the hot hand in Brian Harman (+8,000). He has four top-10s in his last nine Tour starts, including a victory at the 2017 Wells Fargo Championship. Another golfer who’s playing well at the moment is Xander Schauffele (+10,000). The 23-year-old rookie won the Greenbrier Classic last July. That’s why Josh Sens is picking him to win his maiden major title this week.
