Charles Howell III (+3,500)

Looking for a worthy sleeper this week? How about the red-hot Charles Howell III? The 37-year-old has been in outstanding form of late, notching top-15 finishes in each of his last seven starts, including a tie for second at the Farmers Insurance Open last month. While the Honda Classic hasn’t been one of Howell’s strongest events from a historical perspective, the Augusta native is still 6-of-7 since the tournament moved to PGA National in 2007, picking up a top-10 finish along the way. That experience will prove crucial for Howell as he attempts to win his first PGA Tour title this year.

Russell Henley (+5,000)

Another golfer who’s primed for a huge performance this week is Russell Henley. He has been playing some superb golf of late, finishing in the top-25 in five of his last six starts, including a tie for 10th at the RSM Classic. What makes Henley such a threat in every golf tournament that he competes in is his incredible length off the tee. He is 23rd in the PGA Tour in driving distance, averaging 302.8 yards per drive this season. That powerful swing will be a major weapon for Henley when tackling the tough 7,140 yard, par-70 PGA National course.

Luke Donald (+5,000)

One golfer who can definitely make a run at the title this week is Luke Donald. He has been playing some solid golf of late, grabbing top-25 finishes in his last two starts. The Englishman tied for 23rd at Pebble Beach and also tied for 17th at Riviera last week. He will look to keep the momentum going at PGA National, where he’s compiled four top-10 finishes. Key to Donald’s resurgence has been his terrific play with the putter. He is sixth in the PGA Tour in strokes gained via putting with an impressive .962 average. That will come in handy for Donald when tackling the delicate greens here in Palm Beach.
