There is no shortage of star power in this year’s edition of the Valspar Championship. Jordan Spieth has decided to skip the event but four of the top 15 players in the world will be there to compete for the 500 FedExCup points allotted for the winner of this PGA Tour stop. With that said, let’s take a look at three sleepers you should be keeping an eye on.

Don’t let Woodland’s T38 finish in last week’s World Golf Championships in Mexico discourage you from looking the Kansas native’s way. Prior to that stint south of the border, Woodland had back-to-back top five finishes in AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am (T5) and in The Honda Classic (T2), respectively. More than that, Woodland knows that winning feeling in Palm Harbor. He won the event in 2011.
We don’t know Kuchar personally but we could say he likes the feel of playing in Valspar. The 17-year pro has had three top-15 finishes in his last five appearances at Valspar. He hasn’t missed a cut during that stretch either. Kuchar has been flirting with success lately, having finished with a T9 in Phoenix, a T22 at the Genesis Open, and a T20 in Mexico last week.
Moore’s recent body of work at Innisbrook is something worthy of our attention. Currently 41st in the FedExCup, Moore went third and fifth over his last two appearances at the same golf course. He is coming off a T28 last week in Mexico, which is quite a bounce back after missing the cut at the Genesis Open and a T61 in Phoenix back in February.
