Webb Simpson (+2,800)

Looking for his first win since October of 2013 is Webb Simpson, who is undoubtedly going to be a crowd favorite at Wilmington this week. The Raleigh, North Carolina native is an actual member of the Eagle Point Golf Club, which means he arguably has the most experience on the course than just about everybody else in the field.

The former US Open champion is no stranger to success at the Wells Fargo Championship either. Simpson finished tied for second at the tournament in 2015 and finished solo for fourth in 2012. Granted, those two previous tournaments were held in nearby Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, but you can’t help but be confident that Simpson will break out in front of his hometown fans.

Wesley Bryan (+2,800)

Not only does Wesley Bryan share the same odds as Simpson, they’re also fellow Carolinians aiming to take the top prize this week.

What the Columbia, South Carolina native has that Simpson doesn’t, though, is momentum heading into the tournament. Bryan, who lives just a few hours away from Wilmington, is hot off his first victory of the season at the RBC Heritage in Harbour Town last month. Not only that, but he now has four top-10 finishes over his last six starts as well.

Francesco Molinari (+3,500)

Although Francesco Molinari has cooled off quite significantly of late, the fact remains that he’s still having his best campaign on the PGA Tour throughout his 13-year professional career. Molinari has missed just one cut out of the 11 tournaments he’d partaken in this season. In those 10 other starts, the 34-year-old Italian bagged three top-10 finishes and a total of seven top-15s.

Molinari made his Wells Fargo Championship debut last season, wherein he finished tied for 17th. Perhaps the slight change of scenery from Quail Hollow to Eagle Point is what he needs to trump his previous result at the tournament.
