Intermediate tracks are fun because of the short length of courses, including the one that’s going to take place this coming weekend in New Hampshire. While the favorites have been named here, it’s still anybody’s race to win – or lose. Have a look at our list of the top three sleepers for the New Hampshire 301, aka Foxwoods Resort and Casino 301, (formerly Overton’s 301) below.

Austin Dillon
Dillon had a hot start to the season, finishing fifth, sixth, and first in his initial three races, including a win at Daytona 500. He could be getting groove back again after a ninth-place finish in Daytona and a 22nd place a Kentucky. Dillon, however, has not won a race on intermediate tracks in his career. He has a trio of top 10 campaigns on such tracks and 17 top 20s on intermediate races to go with a 19.81 average finish. Despite his underwhelming string of performances on intermediate tracks, Dillon may just catch fire to strengthen his campaign of for a playoff spot.
Ryan Blaney
Like Dillon, Blaney has yet to win on an intermediate track race but he’s done better than the former. Blaney has five top 10s on intermediate tracks, including an eighth place campaign last May at the The AAA 400 Drive for Autism. He was ninth in last September’s event at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Blaney has zero wins on the season, but he could be on the verge of nailing his first victory after placing second in Kentucky.
Denny Hamlin
Finally a driver on this list who actually has had success at New Hampshire. Hamlin, who finished 16th in Kentucky last week, has three career wins at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway. He also has nine top 5s, 14 top 10s, and 21 top 20s in 24 races there. His last win in New Hampshire came last year, when he led 54 laps and topped The Overton’s 301.
