And for Romine, it seems that he thinks Johnson is going to be one of the major contenders for the top prize at the 2019 WGC FedEx St. Jude Classic in Memphis. Johnson, who is No. 2 all-time in career earnings at TPC Southwind is in the middle of a rut, as he hasn’t finished better than T35 in any of his last three starts, including a missed cut at the Rocket Mortgage Classic and a T51 at last week’s 2019 British Open. That said, Johnson is the defending champion of this week’s tournament.

Prior to that, McIlroy had a T9 at the US Open and won the RBC Canadian Open. As for Schauffele, he had some trouble with his driver at 2019 British Open wherein he finished with a T41. Despite that, it’s hard to ignore the elite consistency Schauffele is showing this season. He has two wins and five top 10s in 17 starts this season so far.
