Erik Jones (40/1 Vegas Odds)

Jones seemed to be locked in for a strong start to the 2020 season when he placed first in the exhibition race at The Clash in Daytona. However, his past two races ended up with uninspiring results. Jones finished a decent 18th at the Daytona 500 and 23rd at the Pennzoil 400 in Las Vegas. While some bettors would probably stay away from Jones, it’s probably not the best of ideas if you’re one looking for value. Jones has a trio of top 20 finishes in Fontana plus a top 10 when he placed seventh back at the 2018 Auto Club 400. In nine races on intermediate tracks, Jones has collected eight top 20s and a couple of top 10s.

Austin Dillon (100/1 Vegas Odds)

Currently seventh on the 2020 NASCAR Cup Series standings, Dillon will b looking to build on his solid showing in Las Vegas last week. In that race, Dillon finished fourth. That came after a respectable 12th-place finish at the 2020 Daytona 500. Dillon is just waiting for that breakthrough in Fontana which he’s seemingly destined to get. Dillon has had top 11 finishes in all of his past three races at the Auto Club Speedway, including a pair of top 10s in 2018 and 2019. In six career races in Fontana, Dillon has finished an average of 13.67.

Ryan Blaney (16/1 Vegas Odds)

Blaney is the early leader in the 2020 NASCAR Cup Series. He’s yet to win a race this season, but he’s shown enough consistency to position himself on top of the standings with 85 points. Blaney has 85 points heading into the third race of the season, thanks to a runner-up finish at the 2020 Daytona 500 and an 11th-place in the Las Vegas Motor Speedway last week. Blaney has three top 10s and a top 5 in four races at the Auto Club Speedway, dating back to 2016.
