We begin with Tripp Isenhour of the Golf Channel. Isenhour cites two golfers to watch out for in Jordan Spieth and Justin Rose. Spieth’s struggles have been well-documented, but Isenhour thinks that the long break could be the cure to the golfer’s malaise. Also worth mentioning is the fact that Spieth has won at the Colonial before, winning there in 2016 and went second in 2015 and 2017. Spieth also managed to finish eighth there in 2019. Spieth has two top 10s in eight starts so far this year. Spieth is +4000 to win the 2020 Charles Schwab Challenge. As for Rose, we’ll discuss more of him below.

Reed is priced +2800 to win at the Colonial this weekend, but for Mike McClure and his projection model, the golfer could be the surprise of the tournament. Reed has consistently put himself in a good position to win. He has four top 10s, including a win at the World Golf Championship-Mexico Championship, and six top 25s in eight starts this season. In his last start, he settled for a T15 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational last March.
