Cincinnati Bengals vs. New York Giants (8:30 PM ET)
Line: Cincinnati Bengals (-1) at New York Giants (+1); total: 47.5 – view all NFL lines
The New York Giants will put their three-game winning streak on the line when they lock horns with the Cincinnati Bengals at MetLife Stadium later tonight. The Giants are coming off an impressive 28-23 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 10. Eli Manning threw four touchdown passes for the Giants who are now just 1.5 games behind the Dallas Cowboys in the NFC East race.
He will be licking his chops at the prospect of facing a Cincinnati side that’s eighth-worst in the NFL in total defense, allowing a whopping 378.5 yards per game this season. That being said, the Bengals will fancy their chances against the Giants as they have fared extremely well against them of late. Cincinnati has won two of its last three meetings with New York. The Bengals trounced the Giants, 31-13, in their last encounter back in 2012.
The Bengals are 5-2 ATS in their last seven meetings with the Giants.
Writer’s Prediction
New York (+1) wins, 27-20.
Miami Heat vs. San Antonio Spurs (8:30 PM ET)
Line: Miami Heat at San Antonio Spurs – view all NBA lines
The San Antonio Spurs extended their winning streak to two games with a thrilling 106-100 victory over the Houston Rockets on Saturday. Five players scored in double-figures for the Spurs who moved 1.5 games clear in the Southwest Division standings. Tony Parker showed why he is so valuable to the five-time NBA champions, scoring 16 points in his return from a knee injury.
Up next for the surging Spurs is a clash with the Miami Heat. Miami’s downward spiral continued on Sunday with a 102-91 loss to the Utah Jazz. It was a disappointing defeat for the Heat who are now mired in a four-game losing rut. The Heat will look to turn things around at AT&T Center, where the Spurs have lost three of their last four games.
The Spurs are 6-1 SU and ATS in their last seven home games against the Heat.
Writer’s Prediction
San Antonio eases past Miami, 102-87.
