The 2017 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series heads over to Talladega this weekend for the 2017 GEICO 500. Brad Keselowski has had a lot of success at the track, but so have the likes of Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Joey Logano, who won last week at Richmond. Who among them do the top NASCAR experts like to head on over to Victory Lane?
Jeff Gutowski of Fantasy Racing Cheat Sheet likes Brad Keselowski’s chances at Talladega this week. Keselowski won his first ever race in top-flight of the NASCAR Cup Series in 2009 at Talladega, and also won last year for his fourth career win at the track.
Gutowski notes that the Fords have have the best speed in the series this season, which will help in the long straightaways of Talladega. He also likes the fact that Team Penske tend to perform well in restrictor plate tracks, which is why he’s gone with Keselowski, who is priced at +800 to win.
Meanwhile, Gutowski has the favorite, Dale Earnhardt Jr. (+750) finishing second to Keselowski at Talladega. Junior is the leader among active drivers in career wins at Talladega with six. Perhaps a return to this track can get what has been a rocky season back on track.

Logano’s got a very good chances of making it six in a track where he’s won two of the last three races. He is priced at +800 to pick up yet another win at Talladega this weekend.

The panel of the Yahoo! Fantasy NASCAR experts regularly polled by Fantasy Racing Cheat Sheet was nearly unanimous in its pick of Brad Keselowski. Four of five experts picked No. 2, as well as the consolidated picks of the FRCS users. Robert Walsh was the lone dissenter as he picked Kevin Harvick (+1,000) to pick up his first win of the season.
Logano was a popular favorite to finish second, and all had him finishing at least in the top 3. Meanwhile, there were a couple of surprise inclusions in Ryan Blaney and Clint Bowyer (both +1,800), who are both tipped to crash the top 3 at Talladega.
