The Iowa Hawkeyes are looking for back-to-back wins over top-10 teams and their third straight win overall. The Hawkeyes have also won five of their last eight road games, so there’s a bit of confidence going into this Week 11 meeting on Wisconsin turf. The Badgers, however, are looking to extend an undefeated streak to a nice and even 10-0 and make a statement about their place in this year’s CFB championship conversation. The Wisconsin Badgers have won eight straight games at home. Register to bet and wager with your pick.

Betting on the Iowa Hawkeyes 6-3 (+12)
The Iowa Hawkeyes are coming off an absolutely stunning beat down of the Ohio State Buckeyes at home last week. That win was good enough to crack the top 25 in the AP Poll rankings this week. We’ll see if they crack the playoff committee’s rankings this Tuesday.
The Iowa Hawkeyes must be on cloud nine after humiliating the Ohio State Buckeyes last week 55-24. They were relentless on both sides of the ball gaining almost 500 total yards of offense and nabbing four interceptions.
This will be an interesting week to see if they can keep that momentum going. Or if they lay an egg on the road. If this game were at home, things could be different, but given that this is a road game, they be coming into Camp Randall a bit hung over against a very motivated Badger team.
However, I do believe that they will be competitive in this game. The Hawkeyes have a solid defense and some low key playmakers on the offensive side of the ball led by Nathan Stanley and Akrum Wadley.
Betting on the Wisconsin Badgers 9-0 (-12)
Wisconsin, meanwhile, is only one of four undefeated teams in the power five conferences and everybody is kind of pushing them off to the side. They aren’t getting the respect that they think they deserve.
The only way to gain respect is to keep winning and they’ll have to win this week to stay alive in the CFB Playoff race. Wisconsin hasn’t, and they won’t be, playing the toughest schedule in the world, but all they do is win. The Badgers really haven’t had a close game yet and they’ll try and keep it that way.
Statistically, the Badgers are a top tier offense and the fifth best defense in the nation. The eye test, for me, says that they have a serviceable offense and a well coached defense. However, even defensively it’s hard to say where they would rank considering they haven’t – and won’t – play a Penn State or an Ohio State.
Unless, of course, it’s in the Big Ten title game. Also, it’s worth noting that the best offense the Badgers have faced is Florida Atlantic. Let that sink in for a little bit.
Writer’s Prediction
For me, I think this is going to be a close, low scoring game. These games typically are and I don’t think this one will be any different. I’ve got the Badgers winning at home, but I think Iowa will cover. Also, the under might be in play, as well. Pick: Iowa (+11.5)
