Betting on the Boston Celtics

Now is a good time for Boston to miss Kyrie Irving. The Celtics’ offense bogged down in Game 3, as they barely could get anything to fall, shooting just 40 percent from the field. For the first time in this series, Boston took fewer than 90 field goal attempts, as the Celtics only had 80 on Friday. Terry Rozier fell back to Earth with only nine points, while Jaylen Brown only had 11. The Celtics will have to forget Game 3 and figure a way how they could bounce back. A good start for them would be to cut down on their turnovers. They had 18 in Game 3 while Milwaukee only had nine. They also have to recover their defensive moxie after letting Milwaukee make 57 percent of their shots.

The Celtics are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games in Milwaukee.

Betting on the Milwaukee Bucks

At long last, the Bucks played like a playoff team and not like one that looked like it did not belong in the postseason. Milwaukee served the Celtics a taste of Boston’s own medicine as the Bucks played relentless defense in Game 3. The Bucks used their length to stymie Boston’s offense, as they recorded 13 blocks. Giannis Antetokounmpo had 19 points, six rebounds, and two blocks, while Thon Maker came off the bench and erased five shots to go with 14 points. Eric Bledsoe also played his best game of the series, scoring 17 points and handing out four assists. With the Bucks seemingly finding their confidence and rhythm again, expect them to play with the same spunk in Game 4.

The Bucks are 4-1 SU and 3-2 ATS in their last five home games

Writer’s Prediction:

Boston silences the Bucks with a 103-99 win.
