The Golden State Warriors (–4) are a win away from booking a return trip to the NBA Finals. They can do that as soon as this Monday as they try to complete a sweep of the Portland Trail Blazers, who do not seem to have any answer to the Warriors’ juggernaut. Will the Warriors end it all up this Monday? Or will the Blazers (+4) buy more time with a win? See the latest future odds for the remaining NBA teams here.

Betting on the Golden State Warriors (57-25 Regular Season)
The Warriors flexed their championship muscles again in Game 3, as they took down Portland on the road, 110-99. No Warrior flexed it more than Draymond Green, who finished the contest with a triple-double of 20 points, 13 rebounds, and 12 assists. He also had four steals and a block in 38 minutes of action. With Kevin Durant out, Green is forced to elevate his play, and he’ll have to take it to a higher level if small forward Andre Iguodala misses time. Iguodala hurt his calf (something funny in the water in the GS locker room?) in Game 3 and is scheduled to undergo an MRI, which doesn’t bode well for Golden State moving forward. Although Golden State is dealing with injuries to key players, they still have Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson. Curry had 36 points in Game 3 on 11-for-26 shooting with six 3-pointers, while Thompson had 19 to go with five rebounds and five dimes while also playing superb defense.
The Warriors are 2-0 against the spread (ATS) in their last two games on the road.
Betting on the Portland Trail Blazers (53-29, Regular Season)
If you think there’s something wrong with Damian Lillard, it’s because there is. The Blazers guard reportedly is dealing with a separated ribs, which most likely explains why he hasn’t been himself so far in the series against Golden State. Lillard, who scored 19 points in Game 3 but on 5-for-18 shooting from the field, is averaging 20.3 points in the series on an excruciating 32.6 percent from the field. CJ McCollum is healthy, but is also not shooting well over the last three games in which he averaged 20.7 points on 37.1 field goal percentage. One good takeaway for Portland from Game 3’s loss was Meyers Leonard’s performance as a starter. Leonard had 16 points and three 3-pointers on 6-for-12 shooting in 31 minutes. Look for the Blazers to start him again over Enes Kanter, who’s seemingly being slowed down by playing hungry – literally. In observance of Ramadan, Kanter has been forced to fast.
The over is 4-1 in Portland’s last five home games. After a loss on the season (playoffs included) the Trail Blazers are 20-15 ATS, covering 57.1% of the time.
Writer’s Prediction
Portland wins, 115-114. Let’s keep extending this thing!
