Betting on Novak Djokovic (-8000)

Djokovic was not going to let himself get upset in the third round of the 2019 Wimbledon. After dropping the first set of his match with Hubert Hurkacz and getting tested beyond what was initially expected in the first two sets, Djokovic put on his big boy pants and demolished the pole in a 7-5, 6-7 (5-7), 6-1, 6-4 win. The Serbian put 66 percent of his first serves in against Hurkacz and won a high 82 percent of his first-serve points. He had some shaky moment mostly because of Hurkacz’s service game, but Djokovic still came away with four break points  and won 39 percent of his return points. That match may very well serve as a wake-up call for Djokovic, who is also relatively having an easy route in the tournament, with plenty top ten seed players gone in the competition already. Humbert is just 21, a youngster just like Hurkacz, but it’ll take for him a near-flawless at the very least to take down Djokovic at this point of the tournament.

Betting on Ugo Humbert (+3000)

Humbert pulled off one of the most surprising victories in the tournament thus far when he swept Felix Auger-Aliassime in straight sets in the third round, 6-4, 7-5, 6-3. Not many people saw that one coming, but it seems that Humbert is truly discovering his identity in this tournament, which is also his first at Wimbledon. Humbert put 63 percent of his first serves in play and won 79 percent of his first-serve points. Humbert was impressive in the way he handled Auger-Aliassime’s serves. While Humbert only had four aces to 11 by Auger-Aliassime, he won 48 percent of his return points and converted five of 10 break point opportunities. Apart from Auger-Aliassime, another notable victim by Humbert at the 2019 Wimbledon was Gael Monfils, whom the French youngster outlasted in the first round via retirement and via a score of 6-7 (6-8), 3-6, 6-4, 7-5, 3-0. Humbert is tied for fifth in the tournament with 15 break points won
