Cincinnati Bengals vs Pittsburgh Steelers Predictions, Picks, Odds, and Betting Preview | NFL Week 10 – November 15, 2020

The Pittsburgh Steelers are the only remaining undefeated team in the NFL, and they can extend their winning streak to start the season to nine games if they can hurdle past the Cincinnati Bengals. The Bengals look like cannon fodders against the Steelers, but they just shocked the Tennessee Titans in a recent game.

Betting on the Cincinnati Bengals (+9)

Regular Season Record: 2-5-1

The Bengals entered their bye in Week 9 with smiles on their faces, as they scored a 31-20 upset win over the Tennessee Titans at home in Week 8, thus ending Cincinnati’s three-game losing skid. Joe Burrow passed for 249 yards and two touchdowns with zero interceptions on 26-of-37 completions, while Giovani Bernard led the team with 62 receiving yards and a touchdown on 15 carries. Despite the extra week of rest, however, it appears that RB1 Joe Mixon is not going to make his return to action against the Steelers. Mixon has missed weeks with a foot injury and he missed practicing Thursday, pointing to another skipped week for him. It looks like Bernard will carry the bulk of the Bengals’ rushing attack on Sunday, though it will be tough to count on him to have any success opposite the Steelers’ offense. That’s unless Burrow can get the passing game going. The Steelers are zoned in on stopping Burrow, but the rookie out of LSU has had considerable success in the past despite having a target on his back. He had 313 passing yards in a 31-27 road loss to the Indianapolis Colts, which has one of the best pass defenses in the league, last month. Also, consider that the Steelers are just 3-7 against the spread as home favorites by at least five points.

Meanwhile, the Bengals are 3-1 against the spread in their last four road games.

Betting on the Pittsburgh Steelers (-9)

Regular Season Record: 8-0

The Steelers are still undefeated after they avoided getting embarrassed by the Dallas Cowboys in a 24-19 come-from-behind win in Arlington last week. The Steelers got 306 passing yards and three touchdowns with zero interceptions on 29-of-42 completions from quarterback Ben Roethlisberger against the Cowboys, while three Steelers had at least 69 receiving yards, led by Juju Smith-Schuster, who caught six passes for 93 yards and a touchdown. Roethlisberger can continue having success passing the ball on Sunday, as the Bengals don’t defend that well against the pass. The Bengals are just 24rd in the league with 256.6 passing yards allowed per game. But the Steelers can also ride their ground attack that’s primed for a strong bounce-back performance after coming up with just 36 rushing yards against the Cowboys. For one, Cincinnati’s run defense is fourth-worst in the NFL, as it is giving up 144.2 rushing yards per contest. James Conner should have a field day racking up yards on the ground in Week 10.

The Steelers are 5-1 against the spread in their last six games overall.
