The New York Jets failed to follow up on their improbable Week 2 win over the Cleveland Browns on the road, as they lost at home in Week 3 to the Cincinnati Bengals, 27-12. That could get Joe Burrow and company finally going, as they look to sustain their momentum into Week 4 when they face the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Steelers are coming off a loss to the Cleveland Browns on the road, 29-17, but will always be a tough opponent for anyone. Will the Bengals go back-to-back? Or will the Steelers get back to .500? Check out our preview of this Jets vs Steelers game in Week 4 of the 2022 NFL regular season.

Betting on the New York Jets (+3.5)
Regular Season Record: 1-2
Joe Flacco’s leash is getting shorter, but until Zach Wilson gets clearance to play, the veteran will continue acting as the Jets’ QB1. Flacco was solid in the Browns game, but struggled mightily in the loss to the Bengals, as he went just 28/52 for 285 yards (0 TDs, 2 INTs). If anything, the Steelers’ defense hasn’t looked right for the most part of this season, so far. There should be an opportunity for the Jets to come through with a bigger performance offensively this coming weekend and take advantage of the Steelers’ stop unit that is missing TJ Watt.
The Over is 4-0 in the Jets’ last four October games.
Betting on the Pittsburgh Steelers (-3.5)
Regular Season Record: 1-2
The Steelers are on a downward spiral, but maybe a game against the lowly Jets is just what the doctor ordered for Mitch Trubisky and company. Trubisky played flat in Week 3, particularly in the second half. He finished with 207 passing yards (0 TD, 0 INT) on 20/32 completions versus the Browns. Meanwhile, even though the Steelers’ defense is playing without Watt, they can have success getting to Flacco in the backfield, considering that the Jets’ quarterback has already been sacked a total of 11 times this season.
The Steelers are 3-0-1 against the spread in their last four home games.
Writer’s Prediction
The Jets win, 23-20.
