[sc:Football ]2015 NFL Week 11 Fantasy Sleepers
Case Keenum – Quarterback, St. Louis
Case Keenum could be a sneaky fill-in quarterback after the St. Louis Rams decided to bench a struggling Nick Foles. Keenum offers plenty of punch considering he’s facing a patchy Baltimore defense, which ranks 28th in quarterback fantasy points allowed per pass attempt.
[sc:NFL240banner ]The Ravens are in the bottom 10 in the league when it comes to completion percentage, yards per completion, touchdown rate and interception rate. Keenum has the best dance partner to really get it going in his first start of the season. He’s also surrounded with some adept talent in St. Louis’ Tavon Austin, Brian Quick and veteran Wes Welker.
Jonathan Grimes – Running Back, Houston
Jonathan Grimes is the most efficient running back among the Arian Foster replacement trio of himself, Alfred Blue and Chris Polk. Grimes is averaging over five yards per touch and may even receive a few targets coming his way considering the Texans are playing with a backup quarterback. While he may not explode for monster numbers right away due to facing a stout Jets rushing defense, Grimes is worth keeping for the long haul.
Doug Baldwin – Wide Receiver, Seattle
At first glance, Doug Baldwin is worth a pickup after seeing him wrack up 134 yards and a touchdown against the tough Cardinals secondary in Week 10.He’s averaging 7.3 fantasy points per game in standard formats this season. Baldwin is also the only receiver with a reasonable share of targets behind Jimmy Graham in the Seattle passing game.
Seattle faces a struggling San Francisco defense, which has struggled against the pass on the road. The 49ers are allowing 9.62 yards per pass attempt on the road this season, which could give quarterback Russell Wilson (and in turn Baldwin) a boost in fantasy production.
Clive Walford – Tight End, Oakland
Clive Walford is by far Oakland’s best receiving and most athletic tight end. He should be in the midst of a shootout between Oakland and Detroit as both teams bring forth questionable defenses. The Lions are giving up the seventh-most fantasy points per target to tight ends this season, which could put Walford a viable tight end streamer in deep leagues.
Matt Prater – Kicker, Detroit
Matt Prater is due for a big game when Detroit welcomes the Oakland Raiders to Ford Field on Sunday. The Raiders the 31st most fantasy points to opposing kickers this season, giving up double digit points in the past two weeks. The Raiders have allowed the second-most field goal attempts (27) to opponents this season, which could have Prater busy come Sunday afternoon.
Miami Dolphins D/ST
The Dolphins have recorded multiple sacks in five straight games, pointing out that the pass rush is getting better and better. Miami faces a Dallas Cowboys side, which has allowed the fifth-most fantasy points to opposing defenses/special teams. While the return of Tony Romo could turn away those looking at nabbing the Dolphins D/ST, Dallas’ quarterback may still be rusty after missing the past nine weeks mending his broken collarbone.
