If you’re not too familiar with the names currently on top of the PGA Tour money rankings, you’re not alone. The likes of Kevin Kisner and Brandt Snedeker aren’t exactly Jordan Spieth and Jason Day, who haven’t been as active to start their respective seasons. However, the top two golfers in the world are back in action this weekend at Pebble Beach, which could just see them break the top 20 of the money rankings.
Let’s take a look at the current top 20 money rankings for this week, as well as their respective FedEx rankings and their finish in last week’s tournament (if applicable).Meanwhile, check out our complete preview of the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am here, as well as our potential sleeper picks for that tournament here.

Hideki Matsuyama was the big riser in the PGA money list this week after his thrilling playoff win at the Waste Management Phoenix Open. The 23-year-old Japanese took home the $1.17 million prize which catapulted him from No. 54 up to No. 8 in the money list. He also earned 500 FedEx Cup points, and made the jump from No. 74 to No. 10 in those rankings.
Rickie Fowler, whom Matsuyama edged out in said playoff, remains in the top 15 of the money rankings. Although, he should feel like he squandered a tremendous opportunity to vault himself into the top five after he squandered a two-shot lead in the 17th hole. This week’s big tournament, the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, will see the return of Jordan Spieth. The World No. 1 has played in just three tournaments thus far this season (one of which was unofficial) but he is coming off a big win at the Hyundai Tournament of Champions.
Brandt Snedeker will be one of Spieth’s main competitors at Pebble Beach. The 35-year-old has been in excellent form this season, which is why he’s currently No. 2 on the money list. He had his worst finish of the season in the Waste Management Phoenix Open last week, but he could be primed for a bounce-back performance at Pebble Beach, where he’s won in two out of the last three years.
