Betting on the Arizona Cardinals (6-7)
The Arizona Cardinals have had a very up and down season so far this year, and a lot of the struggles have been because of the injuries. They are on their third string quarterback with Blaine Gabbert getting the start in the last four games, and has led the Cardinals to the 2-2 record. He really hasn’t played that well but has done enough to kept the team in games. He has thrown for 897 yards, six touchdowns and five interceptions.
In the last game against the Titans he threw for 178 yards zero touchdowns and zero interceptions. In this game he is probably going to need a little better stats then that to come out with the victory. The defensive side of the ball has been really good some games for the Cardinals, and really bad other games, and you really don’t know what team will show up.
In the last game against the Titans the good defense showed up and put pressure on Marcus Mariota all afternoon long. He threw for only 159 yards and two interceptions. He also wasn’t able to thrown a touchdown. To win this game they are going to need to put the same pressure on Kirk Cousins. The offense isn’t probably going to put up many points, so the defense is going to have to be the deciding factor in this game.
Betting on the Washington Redskins (5-8)
On the other side of this match up is the Washington Redskins who are going to have a lot of questions to answer after the season is over, but right now they just need to try and finish their season on a strong note. The Redskins come into this game having lost two games in a row, and seven of the last ten games. In the last two games the offense really struggled, and the defense really struggled and that led to a couple of embarrassing losses.
Over the last two games they have scored a total of 17 points, and given up 68 of them. Against the Chargers in the last game Kirk Cousins really struggled. He threw for 151 yards and one touchdown and one interception. If they want to win this game he is going to need to play a lot better.
On the defensive side of the ball, the Redskins are going to need to be better. The Cardinals aren’t a great offensive team, and the Redskins can’t make them look like they are. They need to get to Gabbert early, and try to get him to turn over the ball a few times.

The Redskins are the better team, but I think both teams will struggle on the offensive side of the ball. The Redskins will win the game, but the Cardinals will do enough to cover the spread. Pick: Arizona (+4.5)
