Oregon |

The Ducks faced their toughest test yet on the road in Washington this week, and they didn’t disappoint, winning by double digits. |
2 |
Ohio State |
6-0 (5-1-0) |
OSU rallied in the fourth quarter to get past Northwestern, and covered the spread at the last second. They are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games. |
3 |
Alabama |
6-0 (3-3-0) |
The Crimson Tide looked impressive in a 48-7 win on the road over Kentucky. Another big spread to cover against another conference foe, Arkansas. They covered their last two spreads against an SEC team. |
4 |
Baylor
|
5-0 (4-1-0) |
The Bears failed to score 70 and cover the spread on the road against Kansas State. They will have an opportunity to cover a big one against an inferior Iowa State. |
5 |
Florida State |
5-0 (4-1-0) |
After failing to cover against Boston College, the Seminoles thrashed previously unbeaten Maryland, 63-0. They now go on a big game against a very good Clemson Team. |
6 |
Clemson |
6-0 (3-3-0) |
The Tigers eked out a victory at home over Boston College by a score of 24-14. It will be a tough task to remain undefeated with a home game against FSU looming large. |
7 |
Texas A&M |
5-1 (3-3-0) |
They’ve gone cold on the spread, winning close games against Ole Miss and Arkansas. They should have every advantage against Auburn this coming Saturday. |
8 |
LSU |
6-1 (4-2-1) |
The Tigers defense came up with another big game at home, limiting Florida to just six points in a 17-6 victory. They hope to carry the momentum against Ole Miss. |
9 |
UCLA |
5-0 (5-0-0) |
The Bruins beat up Cal this week, but their perfect start will be in jeopardy when they take on a ranked team in Stanford. |
10 |
Miami |
5-0 (4-1-0) |
The Hurricanes had a big second half at home, defeating Georgia Tech by a score of 45-30. Next week they are in Chapel Hill. |
11 |
Louisville |
6-0 (3-3-0) |
After taking advantage of an easy schedule, it got a little tougher this week against Rutgers. It may get tougher still when they host UCF this Friday night. |
12 |
Stanford |
5-1 (2-4-0) |
The Cardinal was upset on the road in Utah this week, continuing their difficulties against the Pac-12 (2-2 ATS), and they’ll look to get back on track at home against an undefeated UCLA Bruins team Saturday. |
13 |
South Carolina |
5-1 (2-4-0) |
The Gamecocks welcomed Jadeveon Clowney back to the lineup this week, which will give them a boost against Tennessee. Connor Shaw and the offense looked good in a 52-7 blowout win over Arkansas, covering the spread after failing in four games. |
14 |
Missouri |
6-0 (6-0-0) |
The Tigers are a big surprise at 6-0, and they definitely caught Georgia by surprise in a 41-26 upset in Athens, their biggest ATS win by far. |
15 |
Washington |
4-2 (4-2-0) |
The Huskies kept the score close against Oregon for three quarters this week, but the Ducks pulled away with a strong fourth to win 45-24. Next game vs. Arizona State should be a good one. |
16 |
Texas Tech |
6-0 (4-2-0) |
The Red Raiders remained perfect with a win over Iowa State, although on the spread, they took it easy against the bad teams in the conference. They’ll be motivated on the road against West Virginia, as they are 2-0 ATS on the road so far. |
17 |
Oklahoma |
5-1 (3-3-0) |
The Sooners suffered their first loss of the season to rivals Texas in Dallas. They should get back on track against Kansas on Saturday. |
18 |
Virginia Tech |
6-1 (3-2-2) |
The offensively challenged Hokies continue to win with their defense, and finally got their style to make bettors happy now that they have covered the spread three straight times already. |
19 |
Georgia |
4-2 (1-4-1) |
Injuries are starting to take their toll on the Bulldogs, and they’ve dropped to 1-4-1 ATS after an upset loss to Missouri last week. They hope to shake that off against Vanderbilt. |
20 |
Fresno State |
5-0 (1-4-0) |
The best team in the Mountain West Conference, the Bulldogs remain undefeated, yet they finally covered the spread against Idaho. It could be difficult to repeat against UNLV, the second best in the conference. |
21 |
Oklahoma State |
4-1 (2-3-0) |
The Cowboys scored late to sneak past Kansas State on Oct. 5, moving to 4-1 SU, but fell to 2-3 ATS. They’ll have a good opportunity to rebound with a smaller spread (-7) against TCU. |
22 |
Auburn |
5-1 (4-2-0) |
The Tigers are 5-1, with two of those victories coming against SEC teams. They face a tough divisional opponent Saturday when they travel to College Station to take on the Aggies. |
23 |
Northern Illinois |
6-0 (3-3-0) |
The Huskies have a soft schedule, so expect the SU wins to continue piling up. However, they have been inconsistent on the spread, yet being the best team in the Mid-American Conference will have them at every chance to cover a big spread. |
24 |
Florida |
4-2 (2-4-0) |
The Gators will look to bounce back from a loss on the road to LSU this week, but it won’t get much easier as they are facing an undefeated Missouri team. |
25 |
Oregon State |
5-1 (3-3-0) |
Oregon State has now won five straight after an upset loss in their season opener to Eastern Washington. They picked up two straight ATS wins as of this week. |
