Phoenix Suns vs. Indiana Pacers (7:00 PM ET)
[sc:NBA240banner ]The Phoenix Suns will look to defeat the Indiana Pacers for the second time in just over a week. The Suns ran the Pacers off the court in Phoenix with a 124-100 win. Gerald Green starred with a team-high 23 points, while coming off a 30-point outing against the Sixers earlier this week. Unfortunately, his running mate Goran Dragic suffered an elbow injury last night and his status for tonight’s game is uncertain. The Suns are 5-1 SU in their last six games.
Odds: Suns (+10) vs. Pacers (-10); O/U: 199.0
The Indiana Pacers are finally going home after a five-game road trip where they went 3-2 SU. The NBA’s best defense was uncharacteristically porous during the stretch, allowing 100 points in three of the five games, including a season-high 124 to the Suns. However, the Pacers tightened up their most recent game, limiting the Lakers to 92 points. Indiana is 10-0 SU and 9-1 ATS in its last 10 home games.
Los Angeles Clippers vs. Golden State Warriors (10:30 PM ET)
After a brief return home from a grueling seven-game East coast trip, the Los Angeles Clippers go back on the road against the Warriors. The Clippers went 5-2 SU on their road trip, winning the last three in a row. They then defeated the Wizards last night back at Staples Center, to go 5-1 SU in their last 6 games. Blake Griffin has scored 20+ points and shot better than 55% in each of those six games.
Odds: Clippers (+5.5) vs. Warriors (-5.5); O/U: 212.0
Going in the opposite direction are the Golden State Warriors, who are just 2-5 SU in their last seven games. Most distressingly, three of those defeats have come at the Oracle. Stephen Curry has been outstanding – he’s scored 23 or more points in each of his last seven games – but support from his teammates has been inconsistent. The Warriors are 7-1 SU in their last 8 home games vs. the Clippers.
