It’s going to be an emotional outing for Harrell who’s making his first career start against his former team. Harrell spent four seasons with Houston between 2011-14. The right-hander picked up the victory in his Rangers debut against the Kansas City Royals on Sunday, allowing just three runs on four hits in six innings of work.
The Astros, on the other hand, will counter with Doug Fister (10-7, 3.56 ERA). He was spectacular in his last outing, throwing six innings of shutout ball in Houston’s 2-1 victory over the Toronto Blue Jays on Monday. Fister struck out eight batters in that ballgame.
