In his last start, Webb surrendered four earned runs in 6.1 innings of a 5-3 road loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks on July 27. Prior to that, he gave up just an earned run on five hits to the Dodgers on July 22, albeit in a 5-1 loss on the road. The Giants’ offense is slashing .235/.318/.395 this season.
