[sc:MultiSportArticles ]Baltimore Orioles vs. Washington Nationals (7:00 PM ET)
Line: Baltimore Orioles (+128) at Washington Nationals (-138); total 7.0 – view all MLB lines
[sc:MLB240banner ]The Nationals will start Tanner Roark (11-6, 2.74 ERA) who has been impressive in his last four starts for the D.C. ballclub. He has pitched seven innings in his last four games, allowing just a run in each of those starts as the Nationals aim to continue their good stretch when Roark is pitching. Washington is 8-2 in their last 10 games with Roark on the mound.
The Orioles, on the other hand, aim to extend their 3 ½ game lead in the AL East and will counter with 23-year-old Kevin Gausman (5-3, 3.70 ERA). Gausman was impressive in his last game, as he outpitched Angels’ phenom Garrett Richards, allowing just three hits in seven innings of work. In fact, the Orioles have won seven of their last nine games with Gausman as their starting pitcher.
The Nationals are 6-4 on their last 10 games at home, while the Orioles have compiled the same mark on their recent travels. The Nationals, however, have lost five of their last seven meetings with the Orioles at Nationals Park.

Writer’s Prediction
The Nationals (-138) will overpower the Orioles in this Beltway matchup.
Los Angeles Angels vs. Los Angeles Dodgers (10:10 ET)
Line: Los Angeles Angels (+113) at Los Angeles Dodgers (-123); total: 6.5 – view all MLB lines
The Angels will send Garrett Richards (11-4, 2.74 ERA) to the mound to face the Dodgers, as they lie just a game behind the Oakland Athletics for the AL West’s top spot. Richards has been a pitching great for the Angels this season, leading the team in ERA and strikeouts (143), but has encountered some difficulty in his last two games. He is 0-2 with a 5.54 ERA in his last two outings.
Meanwhile, the Dodgers will counter with righty Zack Greinke (12-6, 2.65 ERA), who was once an Angel himself back in 2012 before joining the Dodgers via free agency. The Dodgers have won four of their last six games with Greinke on the mound and will be relied upon once again alongside Yasiel Puig, who is in the midst of a six-game hitting streak, batting a ridiculous 11-for-20 during that stretch.
The Dodgers are 7-3 in their last 10 home games, while the Angels have the same record on their last 10 outings on the road. The Angels, however, have lost three of their last four visits to Dodger Stadium.
