The Golden State Warriors are inching closer and closer to breaking Michael Jordan’s Chicago Bulls’ hallowed record. There’s no confetti raining down in Oakland yet though, as the Warriors need to win at least five of their remaining seven games to rewrite history. They’ll get the pesky Boston Celtics at home later tonight. That game and an intriguing matchup between the Boston Bruins and the St. Louis Blues comprise our list of best games to bet on today.
Boston is currently third in the Atlantic Division with 88 points, which puts them on pace of locking up a postseason spot. A loss later tonight against St. Louis, however, would be detrimental to their playoff chances, as it would put the Bruins behind the Isles and Flyers, who are in position to clinch wild card tickets. Boston is just 1-6 in their last seven games, averaging just 1.4 goals during that stretch, while allowing 3.0 to its opponents. The Blues, on the other hand, are looking to displace Dallas atop the Central Division. They are 4-0 in their last five games, with the totals going under in two of those contests.

Golden State continues their assault of the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls’ single season record in wins later tonight, when the Warriors host Boston. The Warriors are coming off a 103-96 overtime win in Utah on Wednesday. They are 6-4 ATS in their last 10 home games against Boston dating back to 2005. The Celtics were on a four-game win streak before being thrashed by the Clippers on Monday, 114-90. The Celtics are 4-1-1 ATS in their last six meetings with Golden State. Golden State defeated Boston on December 11, 124-119.
