Oregon Ducks vs. California Golden Bears (7:30 PM ET)

Line: Oregon Ducks (+3) vs. California Golden Bears (-3); total: 87.5 – view all NCAA Football odds and lines

Pure offense: that’s what this game will be. These two fast-paced offensive attacks are averaging over 80 points between them this season. For the Ducks, who are on a four-game losing streak, they are still benching QB Dakota Prukop in favor of true freshman Justin Herbert.

Head coach Mark Helfrich started Herbert last week against Washington, and he finished with 179 yards, two TDs, and one pick. He will look to maintain the Ducks’ potent O which has been able to put up 37 points and 495 total yards per game.

The Golden Bears are quite similar. In fact, they’re even better, as they are netting 42.7 points (12th in the nation) and 530.2 yards per game (10th in the nation). The team’s lethal weapons, QB Davis Webb and WR Chad Hansen, are nursing injuries, but reports have said that they will be a go for Friday.

Webb has 2256 passing yards and 22 passing TDs this season, while Hansen has 770 receiving yards and eight TD grabs.

San Jose State vs. San Diego State Betting Preview (10:30 PM ET)

Line: San Jose State (+23) vs. San Diego State Aztecs (-23); total: 48.0 – view all NCAA Football odds and lines

The 2-5 San Jose Spartans are on upset mode Friday. QB Kenny Porter and RB Malik Robertson, the guys who ignite the team’s offense will have an interesting battle with a 20th-ranked defense of the Aztecs.

Porter is a average as a QB – 165 passing YPG and nine TDs – but Malik Roberson is capable of being a workhorse. Last week against Nevada, he had 35 carries and 139 yards.

Speaking of workhorses, the San Diego State Aztecs have one of the country’s finest in Donnel Pumphrey. The senior has a fighting chance for this year’s Heisman trophy, thanks to his 1,111 rushing yards (165 rushing yards per game on seven yards per carry), and 11 TD runs. In just six games this season, Pumphrey has three games of 200-plus rushing yards.

On defense, the Aztecs are also dangerous, especially when they’re really on. In the Aztec’s five wins, three were held to under seven points, and four were dispatched with a blowout.

San Diego State (-23) wins easily, but doesn’t cover.
