[sc:NBA240banner ]The Golden State Warriors moved to within a victory of their first NBA championship in 40 years after recording a nerve-wracking 104-91 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday night. Stephen Curry was the star of the show for the Warriors in Game 5, scoring 37 points, grabbing seven rebounds and dishing out four assists in a sterling all-around performance.
Action now shifts to Cleveland for Game 6 with the Cavaliers now faced with a must-win situation. For the Cavaliers to extend this series to a winner-take-all Game 7, they will need another herculean performance from LeBron James. His 40-point triple-double in Game 5 was the first in the NBA Finals in 30 years.

Arizona Diamondbacks vs. Los Angeles Angels (10:05 PM ET)
Line: Arizona Diamondbacks (+170) at Los Angeles Angels (-200); total: 7.5 – view all MLB lines
The Los Angeles Angels extended their losing streak to two games with a gut-wrenching 7-3 defeat to the Arizona Diamondbacks Monday night. The Angels will look to return to their winning ways tonight when they square off with the D-Backs again in the second game of their four-game set. Starting for the Angels tonight is Garrett Richards (6-4, 3.97 ERA). He was solid in his last outing, allowing just two runs on four hits and two walks in seven innings of action in Los Angeles’ 6-2 win against Tampa Bay on June 11.
The Diamondbacks, on the other hand, will counter with right-hander Jeremy Hellickson (4-3, 5.29 ERA). The D-Backs have won four of their last five games with Hellickson as their starter. Hellickson struggled, though, in his last start for Arizona, allowing five earned runs on six hits in just 3.2 innings of work in Arizona’s 7-6 defeat to the Los Angeles Dodgers.
The total has gone under in the Angels’ last three home games against the D-Backs.
