As for the Heat, LeBron James (27 PPG in the playoffs) and the Big 3 will need to be on top of their games in San Antonio if they’re to improve their road record. Miami is just 4-3 SU/ATS away from home in the playoffs.

Writer’s Prediction
San Antonio continues its excellence at home. Take the Spurs -4 to cover in Game 1.
Toronto Blue Jays vs. Detroit Tigers (1:00 PM ET)
Line: Toronto Blue Jays (+145) at Detroit Tigers (-160); total 9.0 – view all MLB lines
The Blue Jays are on the verge of their first sweep of the Tigers in Detroit in over a decade. Toronto’s potent line-up led by slugger Jose Bautista (batting .457 with 11 RBIs during a 10-game hitting streak) is averaging over 6.5 runs per game in its last five games.
The Tigers, who are just 2-8 in their last 10 home games, hope that ace Justin Verlander (6-4, 3.99 ERA) can finally silence those Blue Jay bats. But Verlander is in a slump, the former Cy Young had a horrendous 5.54 ERA in May.
Writer’s Prediction
Verlander’s struggles continue against the hot Blue Jay bats. Take Toronto +145 to complete the sweep of the Tigers.
