Just when people thought that the Los Angeles Angels were showing signs of fading, the Halos stitched together three straight wins against the American League Central leaders, Detroit Tigers. Up next for the Angels is another date with a division leader, as they make their way to Maryland to begin a three-game set with the Baltimore Orioles. In another game, the Los Angeles Dodgers are looking to build on their momentum after sweeping the San Francisco Giants, when they host the Atlanta Braves.

However, they’ve also been slowly developing into a nightmare on the mound since the All-Star break, having recorded a 2.52 ERA – the third lowest in the majors during that stretch. Furthermore, the Angels are 7-0 in Jered Weaver’s (11-6, 3.36 ERA) last seven starts.
He will be challenged by the Orioles, who’ll have Chris Tillman (7-5, 3.92 ERA) to duel with Weaver. The O’s have won in two of Tillman’s last three starts. They are also 7-3 in their last 10 games at Camden Yards.

Atlanta Braves vs. Los Angeles Dodgers (10:10 PM ET)

Tonight, Aaron Harang (9-6, 3.31 ERA) will face a potent Dodgers’ hitting crew, which has scored 17 runs in Los Angeles’ last three games. Harang hasn’t won a game since the start of the season’s second half, but he keeps an impressive 1.93 ERA in four starts this month. The Braves are 3-0 in the last three road starts of Harang.
