[sc:Other240banner ]The Kansas City Royals lived to fight another day after they walloped the San Francisco Giants 10-0 in Game 6 of the World Series. The Royals scored seven runs on eight hits in a decisive second inning outburst to send the Fall Classic to a climactic ending later tonight.

For the final game, the Royals will send Jeremy Guthrie to the mound. The 35-year old was superb in Game 3, allowing just two runs on four hits in five innings of action to grab the victory in their 3-2 win. He will once again face the veteran Tim Hudson who also had a solid performance for the Giants. He surrendered just three runs on four hits in 5.2 innings of work in that game.

Writer’s Prediction

The Royals edge past the Giants 4-3 to win their second World Series title.

Carmelo Anthony

Derrick Rose makes his long-awaited return to the Chicago Bulls tonight as he takes on the revamped New York Knicks. The 2011 MVP played just 10 games last season after suffering a torn meniscus against Portland. He averaged 15.9 points and 4.3 assists prior to his injury last season.

Also making his debut tonight is veteran forward Pau Gasol who signed a three-year, $22 million deal with the Bulls last summer. It will be a reunion of sorts for Gasol as he will take the court against his former coach Phil Jackson who is now the general manager of the Knicks.

Jackson was busy this past offseason appointing Derek Fisher as the new head coach while signing superstar Carmelo Anthony to a five-year deal worth $124 million. Anthony was the main gunner for the Knicks last season as he averaged 27.4 points and 8.1 rebounds in 77 games.

Writer’s Prediction

The Bulls beat the Knicks by double-digits. Create a betting account now and cash in on these exciting ballgames.
