Best Games to Bet on Today: San Francisco Giants vs. New York Mets & Golden State Warriors vs. Cleveland Cavaliers– June 11, 2015

The Cleveland Cavaliers, who many thought were mere sacrificial lambs for the Golden State Warriors, are just two wins away from basketball heaven after their Game 3 win in the 2015 NBA Finals. Will the Cavs move one win closer to the championship tonight? Over in MLB, the San Francisco Giants bring their act to the East Coast to start a three-game series against the New York Mets.

[sc:MLB240banner ]Tim Lincecum’s (6-3, 3.29 ERA) stuff isn’t as powerful as it used to be, but he’s still finding ways to win. He looks to get his seventh win of the season at Citi Field later tonight, against a team that he has consistently beaten before. Lincecum is 6-1 with an ERA of 2.88 in 11 career starts against the Mets.

The Mets, meanwhile, will send Jonathon Niese (3-6, 4.43 ERA) to the mound. Niese has been in a rut for some time now, having gone 0-4 in his last five starts.  The over is 4-0-1 in those games.

Writer’s Prediction

San Francisco wins, 6-4.

Golden State Warriors vs. Cleveland Cavaliers (9:00 PM ET)

Line: Golden State Warriors (-2.5) vs. Cleveland Cavaliers (+2.5); total: 193.0view all NBA lines

Iman Shumpert, Stephen Curry

LeBron James and co. enter tonight’s ball game looking to dig the Warriors a deeper hole. James has clearly shown that no one from Golden State can hold him down after three games played in this series. During that stretch, James has averaged 41.0 points, 12.0 rebounds, and 8.3 assists.

If he can come close to those numbers again, the Warriors are going to be in trouble later tonight—unless Stephen Curry plays like the regular MVP that he is. Curry, who scored 27 points in Game 3, is putting up 24.0 on 39.7 shooting thus far in the Finals. Cleveland is 5-0 in its last five home games. Golden State is 3-2 SU/ATS in its last five road games.

Writer’s Prediction

Cleveland (+2.5) wins, 99-98.
