[sc:MLB240banner ]The Cards have their sight on sweeping Miami tonight, as they send Lance Lynn to the mound for the finale of their three-game set. Lynn (4-4, 3.07 ERA), who is coming off the disabled list, will be making his first start since June 7, when he allowed two runs on five hits in the Cards’ 5-2 win over the LA Dodgers.

The Marlins, meanwhile, counters with Dan Haren. Haren (6-4, 3.19 ERA) hasn’t allowed more than three earned runs in any of his last seven starts, but is just 2-2 over that stretch.

The Cards are 3-0 in Lynn’s last three starts, while the Fins are 5-2 in Haren’s last seven starts at Marlins Park.

After demolishing the Phillies in a 10-2 win on Wednesday, the Yankees take their talents to Texas. The Bronx Bombers will give the ball to Adam Warren (5-4, 3.62 ERA), who’ll bring a 2-0 record and a 3.26 ERA in three starts thus far this month.

As for the Astros, they’ll have Dallas Keuchel (8-3, 2.35 ERA) on the hill later tonight. Keuchel is fresh off a bad outing, giving up five hits, five earned runs, and issuing five walks in Houston’s 6-3 loss to Seattle on Saturday. That said, Keuchel remains a formidable with his 6-0 with a 1.62 ERA and .188 opponent batting average in eight home starts this year.

The Yankees are 3-0 in Warren’s last three starts. The Astros, on the other hand, are 8-2 in Keuchel’s last 10 home starts.

Writer’s Prediction

Houston (+135) wins, 5-3.
