Milwaukee Bucks vs. Boston Celtics (8:00 PM ET)
Line: Milwaukee Bucks (+13.5) vs. Boston Celtics (-13.5); total: 207.5 – view all NBA lines
These teams split the first two meetings this season, both of which were decided by just seven points combined. This rubber match will likely be a different story, however. Giannis Antetokounmpo, including three other starters, won’t be suiting up for the Bucks here, who are already focusing on the upcoming playoffs. Hence, a Celtics victory is going to be inevitable as long as Isaiah Thomas and co. come out playing hard, smart, and don’t get overconfident. Boston is 8-2 SU and 4-6 ATS in its last 10 home games.
Writer’s Prediction
Celtics (-13.5) win and cover.
Brooklyn Nets vs. Chicago Bulls (8:00 PM ET)
Line: Brooklyn Nets (+15) vs. Chicago Bulls (-15); total: 213.5 – view all NBA lines
This is a no-bearing game for the Nets, who are merely playing spoilers here. They’ve done a good job in being one with four wins in their previous six contests, though. Chicago, on the other hand, has gotten it together at the best time possible, bagging six wins in its last eight games, including a four-game winning streak. The Bulls also have a 2-1 edge in the regular-season series with Brooklyn this year, but it’s worth noting that they fell in the most recent meeting last Saturday, 107-106. That should be a good reminder for Chicago—and to bettors—to not underestimate the Nets. The Bulls are 6-4 SU and 5-5 ATS in their last 10 games at home.
Writer’s Prediction
Bulls win, but can’t cover the -15 spread.
