Betting on the Boston Celtics (-7.5)

Regular Season Record: 49-30

Celtics backers should be prepared to see Boston roll out a lineup this Wednesday night without three of the team’s big hitters. Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum, and Al Horford are all considered probable to play against the Bulls. That being said, the Celtics have momentum carrying them after winning two games in row. They defeated the Indiana Pacers and the Washington Pacers in their last two games, scoring an average of 136.0 points in those contests. In the last meeting between these teams, Boston scored a 114-112 win at home last January. It also seems that the Celtics enjoy playing away from Beantown lately, having covered seven of their last 10 games as the road favorite. The Celtics are 5-1 against the spread in their last six games away from TD Garden.

Betting on the Chicago Bulls (+7.5)

Regular Season Record: 45-34

Chicago, on the other hand, is looking for its way out of a two-game losing streak. The Bulls last saw action Tuesday when they absorbed a 127-106 to the Milwaukee Bucks. Before that, Chicago fell prey to the Miami Heat, 127-109. Nevertheless, DeMar DeRozan appears to still be hot. He just scored 40 points in the loss to Milwaukee and he could explode anew later tonight against a potentially crippled Boston defense that might not have Tatum and/or Brown. Nikola Vucevic is also another Chicago player to watch out for. He was horrible against the Bucks but nearly pulled off a triple-double when Chicago thumped the Celtics in Boston way back in November.

The Bulls are 4-0 against the spread in their last four games against Boston.

Writer’s Prediction

The Bulls win, 116-110.
