Betting on Chelsea (+172)

Chelsea is out to break a two-match winless in a grand fashion – by winning the FA Cup Finals this coming Saturday. The Blues have been embarrassed the last time they took to the pitch, receiving a 3-0 beating at the hands of Newcastle on May 13. Prior to that, they had to settle with a draw with Huddersfield.  In the last meeting with Manchester United, Chelsea let a golden chance to sweep the Red Devils in domestic play as they suffered a 2-1 loss back in February. In the first leg of their matchup, Chelsea beat Manchester United, 1-0. Going back to the February game, Chelsea found the back of the net first, but failed to stop the Red Devils from scoring the last two goals of the game. Eden Hazard leads Chelsea in goals scored in all leagues with 16, while Alvaro Morata and Willian have been a tremendous source of goals, too, for the club with 15 and 14, respectively.

Betting on Manchester United (+143)

Manchester United fell short of their goal to top the EPL table. They also were sent home packing early in the UEFA Champions League. With that said, expect the Red Devils to be fully motivated in the FA Cup Finals. Like Chelsea, the FA Cup title match is Manchester United’s last chance at taking home a hardware this season. Manchester United could also consider themselves a little bit lucky for not getting swept in the EPL by Chelsea. For one, the Red Devils lost the possession battle in both meetings. In the first leg, Chelsea controlled the ball 54 percent of the time. In the second meeting, Chelsea still won the possession with 56 percent possession clip. Manchester United is coming off a 1-0 win over Watford. Romelu Lukaku tops the club with 16 EPL goals.

Writer’s Prediction

Chelsea wins, 2-1.
