Justin Fields did everything he could against the Commanders to carry the Bears to a win, but his efforts came up short still. Fields threw for 190 yards and a touchdown with an interception on 14/27 completions. He also led the Bears with 88 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 12 carries. But he was sacked five times for a loss of 36 yards and didn’t really get much support from those around him. Fields’ frustration is building up, but it is still not too late for him and the Bears to right the ship. The Patriots are a tough challenge for Chicago, but all three of New England’s wins so far this season came against non-playoff contenders.

The Under is 11-2 in the Bears’ last 13 games in October.

Bet on the Chicago Bears

Betting on the New England Patriots (-7.5)

Regular Season Record: 3-3

Is there a quarterback controversy now in New England? Mac Jones could potentially return to action on Monday against the Bears, but Bailey Zappe seems to be offering the Patriots enough stability under center to give them the option to let Jones rest longer. Zappe passed for 309 yards and two touchdowns with zero interceptions on 24/34 completions against the Browns. Zappe isn’t flashy but has proven to be a steady presence under center for the Patriots, whose defense is also doing fantastic work, having allowed just 15 points in their last two games.

The Patriots are 3-1-1 against the spread in their last five games overall.
