Betting on the Cleveland Guardians (+1.5)

Regular Season Record: 25-30

The Guardians will come into this showdown against the Twins to start a four-leg series following a 12-8 victory on Wednesday over the Baltimore Orioles. Cleveland has scored at least five runs in each of their last three games and after coming up with a dozen runs in its last game, the team could continue to make loud noises at the plate this Thursday. Josh Naylor has gone 9-for-20 with a home and eight RBI in his last six games, while Jose Ramirez is 10-for-29 in the same stretch. On the mound for Cleveland to open the series is Tanner Bibee, who is 1-1 with a 2.88 ERA and 1.08 WHIP this season.

The Guardians are 5-1 in their last 6 games in Minnesota.

Betting on the Minnesota Twins (-1.5)

Regular Season Record: 29-27

Minnesota is also coming off a win entering this new series versus the Guardians. The Twins defeated the Houston Astros on the road on Wednesday, 8-2. They took two of three games in that series, outsourcing Houston, 16-7. Pablo Lopez gets the ball to start against Cleveland. He is 3-3 with a 4.11 ERA and 1.13 WHIP this season. In his most recent start, Lopez allowed four earned runs on five hits in 5.2 innings of a 9-7 win against the Toronto Blue Jays at home back on Saturday. Willi Castro has been impressive of late for the Twins, as he has hit .348 with three home runs and five RBI in his last 12 outings.

The Twins are 5-1 in their last six Thursday games.
